We had such an amazing time on our two-week tour with Nolan, the whole band totally enjoyed every minute of the tour and spending time with the beautiful Nolan Porter, and dream fulfilled for some members. Three dates in the UK and then across to Mallorca, we had a blast and made memories to last a life time. You had the most beautiful soul and will be missed but never forgotten. KOKO x

Nolan seemed to be everywhere in the regional center - always doing his job, yet helping anyone who asked. WRC was fortunate to have such a talented, funny, wise, friendly and down-to-earth soul in our midst. I miss his smile already.

Through our son Neil we had the great pleasure of meeting Nolan and seeing him perform live during his stay with us. We knew we were in the presence of an exceptional person . He was a very kind and caring soul who loved his wife and family immensely. Cant believe he is gone, so hoped to catch up with him again but happy in the memories he gave us during his stay in our home. Andrea and Keith Jones xx

I was lucky enough to know Nolan for 30 years or so, first through dear friends and then through work. I am sure he would have had no idea how many people he influenced and how beloved he was. My son saw him as a mentor and inspiration in all things musical and my daughter knew him as very wise and kind.

I feel like when Nolan and I would chat if often went deep very quickly, or I learned a random, interesting and new fact about his life, there was always one!

I will miss you dear man, Condolences to his beloved Patrice

Nolan was a dear WRC friend. He charmed and entertained us with beautiful song and always had a warm smile and cheerful greeting for whomever he encountered at work. Very sorry for your loss.

I met Nolan in the early 70’s when he was living with Susan my friend. How lucky can one get. Music , joy and laughter! Loved Nolan from the start, always had a big heart for everyone! We lived in Silver lake on Discanso. They lived upstairs and I lived downstairs under them. I remember I grew a big plant outside my apartment on the side of the hill,when I would go down the hill to check on it I would notice buds missing I knew Nolan must of been down there. Ha ha we had a lot of high times. His talent was extraordinary and yet he was always humble and encouraged me in my own talents. I would sing along with him just for fun and it seemed like it was just a celebration everyday. Many years later working at Canter’s and Assoc. Nolan and I were on a sales team selling Educational programs to teachers and schools all over the USA . We had a lot of success helping teachers with discipline management in the classroom. (what classrooms now!!?)
I remember going to see Nolan sing in the choir at his temple on a holiday everyone looked pretty contained but Nolan was a singing it down with soul!!! That’s Nolan full of soul I will always love him and miss him as he really touched my soul!!!!!❤️🙏🙏🙏♥️♥️♥️
