Nolan's oldest sister Aurelia is sharing this memory of Nolan as a child, interacting with their father, Oliver:
"Our Daddy worked on the railroad and this story was a favorite that he would tell to me.
He was talking to Nolan about the importance of saving money and being prepared for unseen emergencies, etc.
Well, Nolan spoke up and said, "Oh, I don't have to worry about that because Grandma said that when she's gone, that we'll get everything that is hers."
So Daddy asked, "Where is she going?"
Nolan looked a little uncomfortable, and then he said - "Detroit?"
Aurelia remembers that their father told this story to one of the railroad passengers, who loved it so much, that he gave their father a silver dollar to give to Nolan.
