With profound sorrow and enduring love, we announce the passing of Noemi Figueroa Bruno, who departed this life on January 15, 2026.

Born on June 1, 1943, in Puerto Rico, Noemi embodied the warmth, resilience, and strength of her heritage. She was a devoted and family-loving woman whose life was centered on raising her children with purpose, discipline, and unconditional love. As the proud mother of three sons, she instilled in them the values of self-sufficiency, education, integrity, and perseverance. She believed deeply that education opened doors, and she encouraged her boys to strive, to grow, and to stand on their own with confidence.

Noemi dedicated 30 years of service to the United States Postal Service, building a long and honorable career marked by reliability, hard work, and commitment. Through every season of life, she demonstrated strength and sacrifice, providing for her family while modeling independence and determination.

Her greatest joy was her family. She created a home filled with guidance, structure, love, and high expectations rooted in care. Her wisdom and steady presence shaped not only her sons, but also her many nieces, grandsons, and other family members who will carry forward her lessons and spirit.

Noemi is survived by her loving sisters, Elisabeth Betancourt and Maria Figueroa; her devoted sons, Angel Bruno and Manuel Bruno; grandsons Jeffrey, Manny, Anthony, and Brandon; great grandchildren Mya and Maximus; and her cherished nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Luis Bruno and her parents Santos and Maria Figueroa.

Though her heart endured the profound loss of her son Luis, she remained a pillar of strength for her family. Her legacy lives on in the values she planted so firmly: faith in oneself, commitment to education, loyalty to family, and resilience in the face of hardship.

She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

Con profundo dolor y eterno amor, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Noemi Figueroa Bruno, quien partió de este mundo el 15 de enero de 2026.

Nacida el 1 de junio de 1943 en Puerto Rico, Noemi llevó siempre en su corazón la calidez, la fortaleza y la resiliencia de su tierra. Fue una mujer entregada a su familia, cuya vida estuvo dedicada a criar a sus hijos con disciplina, valores y amor incondicional. Como madre orgullosa de tres varones, les inculcó la importancia de la autosuficiencia, la educación, la integridad y el esfuerzo constante. Creía firmemente que la educación abre puertas y motivó a sus hijos a superarse y a caminar con seguridad y dignidad.

Durante 30 años, Noemi sirvió con dedicación en el Servicio Postal de los Estados Unidos, desempeñándose con responsabilidad, compromiso y ética de trabajo ejemplar. A lo largo de su vida demostró fortaleza y sacrificio, siempre proveyendo para su familia y dando ejemplo de independencia y perseverancia.

Su mayor alegría fue su familia. Construyó un hogar lleno de guía, estructura y amor. Su sabiduría y presencia firme dejaron una huella profunda no solo en sus hijos, sino también en sus muchas sobrinas, en sus nietos, y otros familiares quienes continuarán honrando sus enseñanzas y su legado.

Noemi le sobrevive sus queridas hermanas, Elisabeth Betancourt y María Figueroa; sus amados hijos, Angel Bruno y Manuel Bruno; nietos Jeffrey, Manny, Anthony, y Brandon; bisnietos Mya y Maximus; así como sus queridos sobrinos y sobrinas. Fue precedida en la muerte por su querido hijo, Luis Bruno y sus padres Santos y Maria Figueroa.

A pesar del inmenso dolor que significó la pérdida de su hijo Luis, Noemi permaneció como un pilar de fortaleza para su familia. Su legado vive en los valores que sembró con tanto amor: la fe en uno mismo, el compromiso con la educación, la unión familiar y la capacidad de mantenerse firme ante la adversidad.

Será profundamente extrañada, eternamente amada y jamás olvidada.
