Nikie Surene Savoy, age 59, passed away at Reid Health surrounded by family on October 1, 2024. She was born June 9th, 1965, in Greenville, Ohio, the daughter of David Bunger and Delores Koons Bunger Seibel.

Nikie resided in Richmond the latter part of her life. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She had a great love for animals, shopping, scenic drives, the Cincinnati Bengals, Bingo, and keeping up on the latest news (gossip). She never passed an opportunity to reminisce about her childhood and telling countless stories about her life growing up.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her spouse: Scott Savoy; two daughter and three sons: David (Tara) Bunger, Wesley Bunger, Samantha (Jason) McGriff, Jessica (Anthony) McGriff and Jordan (Amanda) McGriff; eight grandchildren: Leigha, Kalib, Katie, Trenton, Cameron, Lonnie, Delilah and Daisy; one great grandson: Skyler; two brothers: William and Mark; six nieces and one very special niece: Carrie Plessinger; one nephew; one sister-in-law: Irene Bunger; and a host of other relatives and friends including special friends: Rhonda Davis, Dot Pearson, Tammy Verduzco and Tammy Gregory.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by three grandchildren: Devan and Declan McGriff and Dakota McGriff; and a brother: Danny.

The family would like to express special thanks to Pastor Josh Holdeman and the Lighthouse family, and Reid Palliative and Hospice Care.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 7, 2024, 11:00 AM, at Lighthouse Assembly of God Church, with Pastor Josh Holdeman officiating.
