It is with deep sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of Nikhl “Nicc” Israni, age 24, of Lowell, Massachusetts, on December 30, 2024, at Lowell General Hospital. Nicc was born on August 6, 2000, in Lowell, and was a beloved son, brother, and friend whose presence could light up any room.

Nicc is survived by his loving parents, Anand and Asha Israni, and his sister, Henna Israni. He was also blessed with a large and caring extended family, including Lal and Anjali Israni, the Bijlani family, the Taneja family, the Sadarangani family, the Masand family, the Bhambani family, and many devoted cousins and friends whom he considered family. He was a devoted family member who always put the needs of his loved ones first and cherished every moment spent together.

Known for his kind and generous spirit, Nicc had a remarkable ability to unite people through his humor and nurturing heart. He found his greatest joys on the basketball court and in the rhythms of his music—writing lyrics, crafting melodies, and sharing performances that reflected his genuine warmth and creativity.

A funeral service in celebration of Nicc’s life will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire in Manchester, NH. Friends and family are invited to attend and pay their respects.

He will forever be remembered for his caring soul, his vibrant spirit, and the joy he brought to everyone who knew him. Nicc’s song may have ended too soon, but his melody will continue to echo in the hearts of all whose lives he touched.
