Nicole's obituary

Nicole Lorynn Zotalis passed away on September 10, 2025. She was loved by many family, friends,  coworkers,  and neighbors. She was Mom to two fur babies Nala and Bella whom she adored. She received her associate's degree from San Diego Mesa College and was well on our way to pursuing a bachelor's degree from Western Governor university. She worked for the County of San Diego for 8 years. After promoting from an office assistant to an administrative secretary she went on to be an eligibility worker and later a supervisor. She started training new staff during covid working on site as a disaster service worker. She was blessed to have many beloved friends. She was an avid fisher woman who prepared her own fishing pole, caught fish, filleted them. And she was an even better chef. She was renowned for several amazing dishes. She was incredibly resilient having overcome a number of medical challenges that cropped up through her life. She was my idol my inspiration and my best friend. She moved into a fabulous home in El Cajon where she and her girls built a home for themselves and built many memories with friends and family.
