Nicole's obituary
In Loving Memory of Nicole Ashley Pollack
September 24, 1991 – June 8, 2025
Nicole Ashley Pollack was a radiant light in this world. Her warmth, grace, and love touched every life she encountered, and her absence leaves an immeasurable space in our hearts.
Nicole carried a rare and beautiful gift: the ability to feel deeply, to sit with others in their hardest moments, and to hold space for their pain as if it were her own. She was an empath in the truest sense, a soul who offered comfort, understanding, and quiet strength to everyone around her.
Nicole spent nearly her entire life in Colorado, where the mountains, rivers, and open skies brought her peace and joy. Some of her happiest moments were spent standing in a quiet stream, fly rod in hand, smiling as she pulled in a fish. She loved walking Aspen through Washington Park, hiking trails she knew by heart, and ending her days under moonlit skies. In those simple, quiet places, she was fully herself.
That same steady joy and quiet strength flowed into every relationship she held most dear. Though she earned her master’s degree in elementary education and built a successful career in real estate, her life was never defined by titles or accomplishments. Her greatest purpose was found in the people she loved. As a daughter, sister, aunt, partner, and friend, she poured love into every corner of her life and always put others before herself.
Nicole lived with Graves’ Disease for much of her adult life, facing it with quiet resilience and grace. Her passing, at just 33 years old, was sudden and devastating. She was taken far too soon, and her family takes comfort only in knowing that she is now at peace.
“Her absence is like the sky, spread over everything.”
— C.S. Lewis
She is survived by her loving parents, Mitzi Sager and Jeffrey Pollack (Hua Pollack); her brother, Brandon Pollack; her sister, Melissa Jones and brother-in-law, Phillip Jones; and her cherished nieces and nephew, Mahayla, Riley, and Miles Jones.
