Nicole Frances Hamlin, 47, of Caldwell, North Carolina, passed away at her home on Wednesday, November 6th, 2024.

Nicole was born on August 15, 1977 to the late James “Jimmy” Hamlin and Terry Ketcham Hamlin, who survives. She is also survived by her brother Carl Hamlin. Nicole grew up in the very close and tight knit community of Caldwell, she was loved by many. Nicole was very close with her family growing up, especially her aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that turned into family.

After graduating from Orange High School in Hillsborough, she continued her education at the University of North Carolina in Wilmington, graduating in May of 2000.

After graduating college, Nicole’s sense of adventure took her all over the world. She traveled to many exotic locations, including Bali and Thailand before settling down in Hawaii for several years. Nicole loved a life of adventure, and her spirit was hard to tame.

Nicole had many passions during her short life; she adored creating beautiful paintings, savoring Thai Food, watching a beautiful sunset, and enjoying the crystal blue waters of the ocean.

Nicole leaves behind her most beloved companion, her dog Maverick.

Nicole will be greatly missed by all that knew her, a celebration of life will be held on December 14, 2024 at the Caldwell Community Building, 7607 Highway 157, Rougemont, NC 27572, at 4pm.
