My good friend of 57 years, meeting in Syracuse, NY in 1967. My mother and I often enjoyed weekends and holidays with Nick and his mother in Virginia. Nick was a good friend and an important part of my life. Thank you Nick for allowing me to be your friend.

July 3rd part at Herman's camp

My name is Joyce Wheeler and I live in Liverpool, NY.  I met Nic in the 70's when I worked for his friend Herman Klaisle at Syracuse Savings Bank.  I saw Nic many times over the years at Herman's Christmas parties and July 3rd get togethers at his camp on Otisco Lake.  The last time I saw Nic was summer 2018 when he came up to visit.  He was wonderful and I have such great memories of all the fun times.  Another friend, Frank Martin said he was notified that Nic had passed away and let me know.  I have been searching for an obit and was so happy to see this.  Thank you!  I am so very sorry for your loss.  He will be missed!!
