We want to thank you all immensely for your generosity, as it has made it possible for us to have an allocated space for remembrance. A local spot, where one can visit in Nickolas’ memory, enjoy the surroundings, and the people strolling by.
Nick’s bench and plaque are located near the Ithaca Children’s Garden, by the entry for the Black Diamond Trail. This particularl location is representative of the love Nick had for the outdoors, for people, and life. While a decent run through the trails seemed to give Nickolas wings, he actually became more grounded, clear minded, and connected.
Sunday October 8th is Nick’s birthday, and nearly 1 year since he departed into spirit.
We will be taking a brief moment to come together and share some love for each other through Nick, at 10 am on Sunday. Feel free to do the same, or visit the bench another time, perhaps take a selfie (or a “selfish” as Nick used say).
