Nick's obituary
Nicholas "Nick" Ryan, 41, passed away on February 12, 2025, in Waterford, Michigan. Born on December 15, 1983, in Rochester, Michigan, Nick was a radiant soul whose presence filled every space with warmth and laughter. His spirit was one of boundless energy and kindness, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Nick was a devoted father to his beloved daughters, Adrianne and Mila. He cherished them beyond measure, finding joy in every shared moment. His heart also belonged to his fiancé, Eloisa Gonzalez, with whom he built dreams for the future. He co-parented with Domonique DeJesus, ensuring that love surrounded their children always. His parents, Gail (Davis) and Rick Ryan, were his guiding lights in life, and his brother Erick was both a confidant and companion through life's journey. Alongside them, Nick leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends who will forever hold his memory close.
A true family man at heart, Nick’s world revolved around those he loved most. His infectious energy could brighten even the darkest days—his laughter was contagious and his presence unforgettable. Whether he was dancing with abandon or watching movies with those closest to him, he embraced life fully. Sports were another passion that fueled his enthusiasm; football and basketball were more than just games to him—they were moments of connection and excitement.
Nick possessed a heart as vast as the sky—always willing to help others without hesitation or expectation. He would give selflessly to anyone in need—a trait that defined him as much as his humor did. His ability to make people laugh effortlessly brought light into countless lives.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Frances Zelanzy, Francis "Bugs" Ryan II, Peggy Davis, and James "Sonny" Davis Sr.; uncles Francis "Bart" Ryan III, Terry "TRay" Davis, David Davis, and Douglas Davis; cousins Jason Durham and Jacob Ryan; and niece Kaylee Ryan. Their spirits now welcome him home.
A Celebration of Life will be held on March 15, 2025, at Royal Banquet Hall in Waterford, Michigan (2525 Elizabeth Lake Rd., 48328). Family and friends are invited to gather throughout the day from 2:00 PM to 8:30 PM to honor Nick’s memory. Food will be served at 3:00 PM as loved ones come together in remembrance.
Nick's absence leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who knew him. Yet his love remains woven into the fabric of their lives—a legacy of laughter and kindness that time cannot erase. May his memory bring comfort to all who were fortunate enough to have known him.
