Nick's obituary

Nicholas Timothy Rauscher, beloved father, son, grandson, passed away on August 25, 2021 in Longmont Colorado. He was born on April 21, 1999 in Margate, Florida.

Nick grew up in and attended school in Longmont, and graduated from Centennial BOCES High School in May, 2018.

After graduation, Nick pursued his entrepreneurial calling, and started Element of Surprise, LLC buying and selling collector sneakers, and Opulent LED, selling LED lights. Nick also was genius in electronics. As a young teen he bought broken Xboxes, repaired them, and sold them. Nick also fixed cell phones. Most recently he designed and built a massive crypto currency computer system from scratch to mine crypto coins. Nick also loved paint ball, and recently got back into his favorite sport. Nick was a very happy and funny guy. Nick always liked to wear very loud and colorful clothing, and that went along with his upbeat personality.

Nick is survived by a host of family that includes his parents, Timothy Rauscher and Carol Rauscher, both of Longmont, CO; his brother Dylan Rauscher of Longmont, CO; his 20-month-old son Parker Jace Rauscher of Loveland, CO; his grandparents George (Joe) and Genevieve Valentine, Bettendorf, IA, and Marie Miller Jacksonville, FL; and his best friend and Parker’s mother Natalie Vazquez of Loveland, CO. In addition, he has many aunts, uncles, cousins, family members and friends. Nick’s mother will take care of his beloved cat, Rascal.

During this time, we are reminded, “this world is not our home, we are only passing through”. So, tell all the people you haven’t told lately, that you love them and live everyday like you mean it. Nick is loved and missed dearly.

Memorial Service will take place on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 11:00am at Howe Mortuary, 439 Coffman Street in Longmont. His friends are all invited.
