It is with the heaviest hearts, we announce the passing of Nicholas (Nick) John Messana on May 30, 2025, following a tragic accident. Nick was a beloved son, brother, and friend whose warmth, humor, and fierce compassion touched everyone he met.

Despite sustaining a TBI at 13, Nick faced life’s challenges with resilience, always choosing kindness, laughter, and love. He gave freely—his last dollar, a warm meal, a friendly joke—and in death, gave the gift of life through organ donation. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, as well as those he never knew.

Nick is survived by his devoted parents, John Messana (Mary) and Moira Messana; siblings Michael (Jenna), Mario, Madonna Sewell (Brent), and Holly Sierra (Ruben). He was predeceased by his grandparents Patrick and Wanda McPharlin and Mike and Josephine Messana.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date in Moore County NC where family and friends will gather to honor his memory and share stories of the joy he brought into the world.

Rest in peace, Nicholas. You will always be loved and never forgotten
