Nicholas Melchiorre, III, 78 of Union, NJ, died Tuesday July 20, 2021, at St. Barnabas Hospital, Livingston, NJ.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Nicholas and the late Anna (Lomonaco) Melchiorre Jr. Nick lived in Briarcliffe and Philadelphia for many years before moving to NJ.

He was a barber and a car salesman for many years. He was a devoted catholic and prayed the Rosary daily. He was a member of St. Matthew’s Roman Catholic Church, Springfield, NJ and the Knights of Columbus Council 1082, Moorestown, NJ. He also loved Philadelphia sports, especially the Eagles and loved to talk sports with anyone who would listen. He was also a foodie who loved to cook and eat. His favorite thing was to have a wonderful meal surrounded by family.

He is survived by his children Diana (Paul) Bray and Nicholas (Renee) Melchiorre, IV, his sister Marie Reinhart and brothers: Thomas (Diane) Melchiorre and Joe (Pat) Melchiorre, 4 Grandchildren, Ashlie, Parker, Max, and Alice and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and Brother-in-Law, Thomas Reinhart

Visitation Thursday from 9:30-10:15am at Notre Dame de Lourdes Church Fairview Rd and Michigan Ave. Swarthmore, PA followed by his funeral mass at 10:30am. Interment of cremains will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon.
