Personal note

Nick was a kind hearted free spirit who never let the grass grow under his feet....The Navy may have had a hand in that.
Enlisting in 1969., He graduated from the Naval Academy and served for 10 years...Oh how proud he was to be aboard the USS. ENTERPRISE CVN 65 Class....Having many duties as An Air Craft Mechanic...Power Plant..and Pretty Officer.
I guess that's why he loved to travel...meet new people and enjoy each day as they came.
He traveled to just about every state in the Nation and was instrumental in the recovery of Refugees from Vietnam at the end of The Vietnam War...while serving on The Enterprise...he was so very proud of his service and we couldn't have be prouder of him....He did not come home without some emotional scars...veterans seem to carry alot that goes unseen...He had some regrets but always tried to improve...he loved working with his hands as a furniture maker and working with upholstery....
And cars...motorcycles...and of course his 55' Chevy...
But his love was the Sea and oh the stories...Corsairs...Black Hawks....when your on an Air Craft Carrier...like The USS. ENTERPRISE well just watching Top Gun will bring you there...
He lastly made his home with a beautiful soul...Lois...They brightened each other's day...they both had a strong relationship with God and Jesus and were able to bring each other laughter and companionship that they both truly needed...He was a great help to our Mother who was very ill before her passing...She just brightened right up when he came through the door...He had that devilish little grin....and how it used to get him noticed for sure...haha....He would help anyone who needed it....
And even if it meant the shirt off his back.
Remember Springfield Gardens...
Remember our coffee klatches...
And most of all...just remember we truly loved you my
Sweet...Sweet Brother...
Michael....
