Nicholas's obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nicholas Martin Rogers, who was tragically taken from us on the day of his birth, November 25, 2025. A cherished son of Jordan Conley and Michael Rogers Jr., Nicholas's brief presence in our lives added light, however fleeting, and he will forever be remembered and missed.

Nicholas Martin Rogers was brought into this world on Tuesday, November 25th at 9:53 PM, weighing 3 pounds 7.6 ounces. Doctors tried to resuscitate him for 30 minutes, but he never took a breath on this earth. In 4 days, our worlds were flipped upside down in the best possible way, to one of the worst we have ever and will ever experience. Our story is one that does not feel like a reality, one we are still attempting to understand, but we know our sweet baby boy deserves to be shared, remembered, and loved.

Nicholas Martin's life may have been short, but it was undeniably significant. We know his life on this earth would have been miserable and that God has brought him safely home for reasons we don't quite understand. Our hope is he is experiencing a life free of pain and full of love. We hope he has been met by our family members who we have lost, and we hope to see him again soon. His passing has left a void in the hearts of many, but his memory will continue to shine brightly in the lives he touched. His life is a reminder of the preciousness and fragility of existence.

A memorial service to honor the life of Nicholas Martin will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 11:00 AM. The service will take place at Perry Hall Baptist Church, located at 3919 Schroeder Avenue, Perry Hall, Maryland 21128. We invite all to join us in remembering and celebrating his life. A visitation will be held shortly before the service beginning at 10:30 AM, as well as refreshments and lite fare following the service.

While our hearts ache with the loss of Nicholas, we find comfort in knowing that he is now at peace and living a life free of the earthly pain that he would have experienced. Faced with this profound loss, we ask for your thoughts and prayers as we navigate this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Perry Hall Baptist Church.
