Our dear Nic came into this world in Boulder, CO, and left this particular life, aged 32 years, in Douglas County, CO. He was a brilliant and talented creative, big-hearted and generous, but primarily he was a musician and shall always be. Nic was never more confident in his essence than when he held a guitar.

As a Colorado kid, Nic enjoyed the mountains, being outdoors, and climbing trees. He loved astronomy and played in three fantasy baseball leagues with family members. He loved playing and composing music and played in several bands over the years. Italo Calvino, T. Rex, David Bowie, Iggy and the Stooges, and Of Montreal were all particular favorites of Nic's, as were Halloween and cats.

He will be profoundly missed by his parents, Damon & Anna-Marie Larson of Denver, CO; his brothers, Dan (Meghan) Winckler of Centennial, CO, and Sam Larson of New York, NY; and his niece and nephew, Ava & Tommy Winckler of Centennial. He is also survived by his two grandmothers, Jean Larson of Longmont, CO, and Carol Larson of Arvada, CO.

A memorial celebration of Nic will be held on April 16, 1:30 pm, at Chaparral High School, Parker, CO. He will lie in peace on the grounds of Ryssby Church, in the countryside outside of Longmont, CO.
