Background
Nick was the owner of Lafferty Construction, a company he started on his own, and worked as a one man crew. Nick was a natural born handyman. From houses to cars, there wasn't anything Nick couldn't fix.
He loved his daughters more than anything, and was most proud of them. The strength he found through all his struggles, was found through the unmeasurable amount of love he had for them. They will always be his pride and joy.
He was a proud uncle, and strived to be the best one he could be. He went out of his way to let all of his nieces and nephews know how much he loved them, how special they were, and how proud he was of them.
He was the son, brother and friend everyone would turn to. He was always there to lend a helping hand, always gracious, always willing. He devoted his entire life to his family, which always remained his top priority.
His sense of humor was like no other. Even on his bad days, he made sure everyone around him was happy and laughing. Humor came easy for him, the best jokes with the best timing, naturally.
He was loved by everyone, and will be missed by so many. The little boy with the brightest smile, grew into the man with the biggest heart. His love, support, and humor will forever be missed.
He is the devoted father of Adriana and Juliana. Beloved son of Nicholas, Sr. and the late Lisa Mirra Lafferty. Dear brother of Arlene ( Dave ), Mandi ( Alex ), Sean ( Nicholl ) and Jessica ( Ray ). Loving Uncle of Natalie, Aiden, Jayden, Benjamin, David, William, Anthony, Isabella and Mackenzie.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Nick's life on Wednesday September 7, 2022, beginning at 6 PM in the HUBERT M. McBRIDE FUNERAL HOME, 2357 East Cumberland St, where Prayers and Words of Remembrance will be at 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family is respectfully requesting memorial contributions be made c/o of the funeral home. Contribute
