Nicholas  Donahue 35 of Independence passed away peacefully on 02/10/2022 after a long difficult battle with type 1 diabetes. His Father and Mother by his side.  Nicholas  grew up in Grain Valley and Blue Springs, MO  He liked swimming, boating and water skiing but his love and talent for baseball was at the top of  his list. Nick will be dearly missed and always remembered. He was a very special young man. He was preceded in death by his older brother Doug. He leaves behind his father Doug Donahue, his mother Cecilia Donahue his younger sister Jessica Donahue and his niece Effie Donahue. There will be a celebration of life  as opposed to a traditional funeral service. His family would like all of Nicks friends and loved ones to join in celebrating. The event has been postponed but the family will make sure anyone interested in attending will be contacted with all the information. We will truly miss Nick, always and forever.
