Ngoc's obituary
Ngoc was born on March 26, 1957 in Thua Thien Hue, Vietnam to Hoang Trong Tri and Hong Nghe Thi Nguyen. Ngoc studied at the university for several years in Vietnam, and she practiced English education for 26 years. On April 8, 2008, she married Du Do. She then moved to Burbank, CA where she would spend the rest of her years.
Ngoc in 1993, landed a job as MC (master of ceremony) for major international brands such Toyota, Heineken, Nike, and BMW. One of Ngoc’s major accomplishments was to have become the first international sports event organizer launching her career in international relations.
Ngoc had a passion for painting. She also loved ceramics and sculpting, and she combined her two favorite hobbies to create extraordinary art. Her abstract paintings and pottery art were much admired by friends and family who visited her in her Burbank home. She was also an avid cook for French Vietnamese food. She was known for her wise wit, her warming aura, and her free spirited mindset.
In her later years Ngoc spent most of her days at home with her husband Du and step children. Ngoc enjoyed sharing a piece of her culture by always cooking French Vietnamese recipes that she had brought from her hometown in Vietnam. Ngoc had an unmatched ability to bring the family together at the dinner table with every meal she put together.
Ngoc was preceded in death by her father, Hoang Trong Tri, and her mother, Hong Nghe Thi Nguyen. She is survived by her husband Du, her four children, Alex, Lawrence, Lara and Bao, her sisters BaoChau, MyHoa, MinhKhue, her brothers Trong and Hoang Duc Nguyen.
