Newton's obituary

Newton Ray Bell, born May 1, 1966, of Walterboro, SC completed his earthly journey on July 27, 2023 after a long difficult battle with cancer. A warm-hearted and generous man, he left an indelible mark on everyone he met. Ray’s love for life was infectious, and his kindness knew no bounds. He was comic relief to everyone who knew him. Some of his catch phrases were Lifeisgood.com, YepYep, and if he did not know the answer to something he would say “7”! He could turn the most tragic moment around and have you in stitches laughing. They broke the mold when he was made!

He is survived by his Life Partner, Della Cathey, of Cabot, Arkansas. His Father, Newton Edward Bell, of Islandton, SC. Siblings, twin sister, Linda Kay Grant, of Round O, SC, Dianne B. Padgett of Edisto, SC, Randall N. Sineath of Walterboro, SC, and Jenifer B. Kolmadin (Johan) of Summerville, SC.  His children, Melanie Elizabeth Bell of Walterboro, SC, and Joshua Ray Bell (Mirna) of Walterboro, SC. Step daughter, Cassidy Ann Cathey (Anthony), of Cabot, AR. His grand children, Kylie Madisson Bell and Naomie Elena Bell of Walterboro, SC. His step grand children, Serenity, Dustin, and Brentley. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Taylor Sineath.

The loss of Ray leaves a void in our hearts, but his memory will always be cherished. Ray(Daddy), your love will forever resonate in our lives.
