Grieving the heartbreaking loss of Neepa Saha, beloved daughter of Chandan and Shiuli Saha.

Neepa Saha, age 27, passed away on January 5, 2026, bringing an unfathomable

silence and grief in the lives of all who knew and loved her. This devastating loss feels

especially cruel given the brilliance and promise that defined her short but extraordinary

life.

Neepa earned her undergraduate degree from Indiana University in Bloomington and

went on to attend Tulane University School of Law in New Orleans, where she excelled

academically, passed the bar, and began building a career as an attorney. At the time of

her passing, Neepa was practicing as an Associate Claims Counsel at Fidelity National

Financial in Jacksonville, Florida.

To all of us who knew Neepa, she was far more than her accomplishments. She was a

loving daughter whose parents, Chandan and Shiuli, doted on her and cherished her

deeply. She was an adored sibling to her older sister Deepa, and the sweetest aunt to

her little niece, Zara. Those who watched Neepa grow up witnessed not only her

remarkable academic and professional success, but also her kindness, humility, and

quiet strength.

Neepa’s life, though heartbreakingly brief, was filled with meaning, purpose, and impact.

She will be deeply missed, and her memory will live on in the lives she touched and in

the enduring sorrow and gratitude of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

As you may imagine, Chandanda and Shiuli are devastated. On behalf of them, I
