Nazrul Sabu, son of Amjad Ali and Asiha Khatun, passed away on October 12, 2019 in Baltimore Maryland's University of Maryland Medical Center, he was 69 years old. He died of Interstitial Lung Disease, an impact of his long term Rheumatoid Arthritis condition.

Nazrul was born in Shillong near Bangladesh on July 3 1950, grew up in Sylhet, Bangladesh, worked in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in his early life, and in his 30's moved to the United States, starting in Los Angeles, CA and then settling in Waldorf, MD. He worked hard in a career of retail management to provide for his family. He loved gardening, taking care of his home, hosting and attending family gatherings, fishing, and watching Bangladeshi folk stories with his wife. Among many things he will be remembered for his unique sense of humour, green thumb and supporting his family.

He is survived by his wife Sadika Sabu, daughter Nafisa Sabu, son Rahat Sabu, brother Kutubul Islam, sister's Bina, x and x, as well as 5 sister in laws, mother in law, and countless nieces and nephews.
