It is with deep sorrow that the family of Nayda Yvette Cruz, lovingly known as Smiley, announce her departure from this life on June 29, 2024, at the age of 80. Born on June third, 1944, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico- Smiley graced this world with her presence, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those she encountered.

Nayda was a deeply loved Wife, Mother and Grandmother, preceded in death by her dear husband, Tony, and she is survived by her three beautiful daughters, Darlene Macaluso, Meldy Cruz and Marlene Pagan, as well as her four loving grandchildren, Jovanie Guzman, Destiny Guzman, Alexia Rodriguez and Mariah Pagan.

The family will welcome friends and relatives for visitation to reminisce and celebrate Nayda's life on July 5th, 2024, from the hour of five in the afternoon until nine in the evening, at Robertaccio Funeral Home, which stands at 495 Main Street, Center Moriches, New York, 11934. We ask that you please wear colors and avoid black- as we wish to celebrate Naydas life and the light she brought into each and every one of us.
