Nati's obituary

Nati Martinez, born September 25, 1944 in Salamanca, Guanajuato, MX to Mateo and Jovita Rodriguez, was called home by the Lord on December 12, 2025 at the age of 81. As a wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Nati was an eternal caregiver. She took great joy in feeding any friend, family, or stranger that walked through her door. When she wasn’t whipping up something delicious in the kitchen, she could be found singing, dancing, sewing, beating the odds at the casino, or taking everyone's money with her most favorite past time, playing loteria. Nati’s life was not without hardship, but she endured every challenge with courage, and unshakeable faith. In her final years, she pursued business opportunities selling her delicious tortillas, travelled for leisure but mostly to visit family, and enjoyed joining her children on their adventures. While her passing came quite suddenly, she lived every moment to the last. Nati is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, (Carmen, Daniel, Juanita, Polin, Raquel, Rey, Rosa), and daughter, Maria Esther. She is survived by her husband, Salvador, their children David, Gracie, and Imelda, their spouses Rosa, Tom, and Rob, granddaughter, Natalie and her husband David, grandsons, David and Randy, and great-grandson Theodore. The weight of her passing will be felt by all who had the privilege to know and love her.
