Scott's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nathaniel Scott Warren, better known as Scott. He was born on May 14, 1991 and passed away at his home on May 6, 2024. Scott was a beloved brother, uncle, and son.
Scott is survived by his parents Rich Giddens and Melanie Miller, big sisters, Heather Cape and Jackie Grubel, little brother, Oliver Warren, and 4 nieces. His family, friends, and loved ones will remember him as a man with a big heart, and an even bigger imagination. He was caring and kind, always carrying a story to share, one that often brought laughter. Scott taught his family to approach problems differently, to be patient, and to treat everyone with kindness, for we never know what battles they may be facing. One of his most memorable teachings can only be seen with humor, by teaching us all to "flush often".
His greatest pride and joy were his nieces. Scott was the best uncle one could ever ask for. His love for them was incomparable. His love also extended to beautiful jewels, the color red, and he took great pleasure in holiday events with candy, such as egg hunts and trick-or-treating. Every joyous occasion was made even more special because of his enthusiasm and love for life.
You always knew where you stood with Scott. He was always true to himself and his wishes, while still caring about the well-being of others.
A Celebration of Life for Scott will be held on May 11, 2024, at 1:00 PM at the Shiloh Methodist Church at Almon Rd in Covington, GA. If you are able to attend, please consider wearing his favorite colors, red or pink, to honor him. As we gather to remember and celebrate Scott’s life, may his stories continue to bring joy and his teachings continue to inspire.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations towards the newly created Scott Warren Educational Fund.
Scott's stories and teachings will remain in our hearts forever. He may have seen the world differently than most of us but he always saw the best in the world in a way most of us never can. His kind spirit will continue to inspire and guide us. He will be sorely missed but his memory will live on in each one of us.
