Two years now, I still hope he will walk thru the door. But sadly, it's not to be. He loved crows and for some reason today they came over the house, hundreds of them landing in our yard and they stayed. Thank you Nate, I think of you every day. Not just because I'm your gramma but I love you still and always will.

as it is the one year memorial of Nate's passing I spent my morning at the beach where Nate and i loved to go. As i entered the bathroom there I saw, in the exact center of the room, a large golden dragonfly. I thought it was alive, but no, it had just landed and died. So, a gift from the cosmos and Nate. Love and you all and hope to see you sometime in the next year or so as we finally settle for good.
