Background
Sergeant Nathaniel Burch was a hardworking veteran who had dedicated his life to serving his country and community. During his 10 years in the United States Army, he demonstrated determination and discipline, taking on additional duties to ensure his team succeeded. Even after retiring from active duty, he continued to work hard, volunteering with family and friends to beautify homes by providing lawn care services with a smile. When Hurricane Helene damaged the city of Augusta, Ga., it also damaged his family home, which he shared not just with his surviving wife and best friend Carol, his son, daughter, grandchildren, and a great-grandson. His home needed major restoration. He was very ill but was determined to restore his family's home while battling his illnesses. He did not let his condition prevent him from completing his mission. By telling his story, I hope it inspires others to keep pushing forward. No matter the challenge, we must live with the same integrity and purpose that define a TRUE AMERICAN HERO. To his family and friends, Nathaniel was OUR HERO. On November 5, 2025, @ 8:40pm, he was called home to heaven. These funds are to help the family cover the funeral expenses.
