Nathan's obituary

A tribute to my brother
It is with heavy hearts and tear-filled eyes that we must announce the devastating loss of Nathan Alexander Hawkins, age 27, who passed away last week in Memphis, Tennessee.
Nathan was brought into this world surrounded by love and light on December 16th, 1997. He was a son, a brother, a friend, an uncle and so much more.
He was a quick-witted person with an amazing sense of humor, who would have you doubled over in laughter any time he was around. His favorite color was red, and he loved birds, specifically bluebirds. Nathan was very smart, very tech savvy, and had a lot of potential. He loved his family and friends. He loved music. He loved cats, and he also loved the outdoors. He spent a lot of time in the city of Memphis, walking through a park nicknamed “squirrel park” and he enjoyed sitting next to the river. Nathan was a free spirit who would help anyone in need whenever he was in the position to do so.
As we transition into a new life without Nathan here with us, I would like to acknowledge that he would support grieving his death, but not the kind of sorrow that keeps us from living.
Nathan is survived by his parents John Williams, Karen Hawkins, and Jeff Landis. Also his siblings: Cassidy, Kimberly, Jason, Joey, Austin, Ashley, Jeffery and his wife Tasha, Amber and her husband Richard, Blake and his wife Carrie, Scott and his wife Misti, Emily and her husband Isaiah, and a plethora of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends whom he loved deeply.
He was preceded in death by his brother Colby, his cousin Michael, and his aunt Judy who welcomed him into Gods kingdom with open arms.
Thank you for loving his unique soul with us. We will forever miss him and will always wonder what would have been.
A life so bright, though briefly spent
Nathan, a gift from heaven sent.
Days ago, your spirit flew
Leaving a void, a silent hue.
With many dear siblings by your side
A vibrant, bustling, joyful tide.
Laughter echoed, games were played
Memories made, a love parade.
From dawns first light to fading day,
You brought such joy in every way.
A brothers bond, a sisters grace,
Reflected from your smiling face.
Though grief now wraps us, cold and deep,
The love you gave, our hearts will keep.
A beautiful life
Though gone too soon,
Shined brighter than the sun and moon.
Nathan, your memory is like beautiful art
Forever etched within our hearts.
May peace embrace your gracious soul
Your love made our family whole.
