Pat's obituary

Natalie R. Hanson (Pat ), 87, of La Crosse passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 25, 2020, at Hillview Nursing Home in La Crosse. Pat was born December 02, 1932, in Westby, Wisconsin to Alf and Alice Larson.

Pat will be most remembered for her sweet and friendly personality and love for others. Pat loved caring for and helping other people, as she made a positive difference in the lives of those that surrounded her. Pat spent 15 years as a nursing assistant at Bethany St. Joseph. What she loved most about her job was being able to care for people and the friendships she made. Pat lived a life of faith, generosity, and love. Anyone who knew her loved her as she had a heart of gold and a smile like sunshine.

Pat and her husband Lynn enjoyed traveling, fishing, and caring for her Mom and Dad. She cherished the time with her friends and every moment with her family. Pat will be greatly missed, but she will always be in our hearts.

She is survived by her brother Orin Larson and Linda Jeffers (Bob), her three children, Larry Erickson, Debbie Hefti, and Mark Erickson (Sue), Danny Hanson (Lisa), Pam Hanson, Maura Hanson, Lee Hanson, Todd Hanson, 16 grandchildren, Elsa Hanson (Seth), Ryan, Hefti (Jenna), Steph Tyburski (Kevin), Jared Hefti, Matt Erickson (Janyne), Gretchen Schilder (Sean), Jason Erickson, Nate Erickson, Kathleen Erickson, and Katie Erickson, Cory Hanson, Ryan Hanson (Arvrella), Josh Wooden, Adam Hanson, Evan Hanson, Pat Hanson, and 12 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Alf and Alice Larson, her first husband, Merlin Erickson, second husband, Lynn Hanson, her brother, Alvin Larson, and her son, David Erickson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Rivers Harvest Church on Friday, October 30th at 1:00 pm. Pat's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Mayo Hospital in La Crosse, WI, and Hillview Nursing Home and Hospice providers for the care and comfort provided to Pat. Jandt-Fredrickson Funeral Homes and Crematory are assisting the family in their time of need.
