Happy Birthday Mom. First one without you:( I’d be getting you strawberry shortcake today. You might not be here but your in my heart forever. Thank u for making me the strong woman I am. Gone but never forgotten.
Tina I am so sorry for your loss of your mother .. I have such great memories with your mom , she loved when we would get ready to go out from your house . She would say you sluts are looking good lol 😆.. She was like a sister picking out our outfits !!! I loved all her antiques and all her porcelain dolls. I remember spending the night and having the dolls in the room with the canopy bed. She was always so welcoming and inviting and always so happy for us so grateful you had such a great mom.❤️❤️❤️RIP
Nellie / Nat always took such good care of us girls growing up! She made sure we got out safely and back home to lots of food! Her house was always warm and welcoming . I have tons of memories of all the antiques and dollbabies. She was quite the collector. I will never forget her and her love for us girls !
I had the pleasure of meeting Natalie a little more than 3 years ago. Her daughter Tina brought me to meet her at her home in Canton. Right away I was greeted with a friendly smile and endless words of affirmation for her daughter. She made sure to point out a childhood picture on the mantle of Tina saying" look how beautiful my baby is. She's the best thing I ever did" after a while of nice conversation, she made sure to follow it up with " take care of my little girl". I would be reminded of these few things every time we visited. That's what was important to her.
I didn't get to know her for a long time, but I'm thankful that I did, and she will be fondly remembered in my heart.
Growing up I lived next door to Nelly. Her sister Ria and I are best friends. There are so many child hood memories. Nelly always looked good when she went out in stylist clothing. Easily loved by many. As she grew her calling was her showcase of antique furniture and her beautiful displays in her home. Could throw things together but it turned out perfectly.
I will always cherish the memories I had with Nelly (Natalie). I met her in my 20’s when I became friends with her daughter Tina. She instantly became my second mom. When I had my daughter we had conversations about how much we both loved our daughters and how only a mother can know how deep the love can be. Rest in peace Nelly, I will forever be grateful for my second mom.
