Nash's obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nash Sellers, a beloved son, grandson, friend, and bright light in the lives of those who had the privilege to know him. Nash was born on April 26, 2006 and passed away too soon on November 25, 2023.

Nash was an energetic young man with a blend of confidence, a sharp sense of humor, genuine care for others, polite demeanor, and infectious zeal for life. His upbeat and positive outlook was a source of inspiration to all around him. Despite his young age, he was a great believer in living life to the fullest, a lesson he perpetually shared with his loved ones.

Nash will be remembered for his unwavering authenticity, for being true to who he was, and for marching to the beat of his own drum. He was passionate about basketball and had a thirst for historical knowledge. He also loved playing video games with his friends and spending time with his family.

There will be a Celebration of Life in honor of Nash on December 1, 2023, from 4 - 7 PM at Gardendale Civic Center. This will be a time for family and friends to gather, share stories, and honor the wonderful young man whose life made an indelible impact on so many.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you donate to our fundraising campaign to help cover the cost for the family. Any additional funds will be donated to the Gardendale Civic Center. Donations can be made at https://everloved.com/life-of…. However, any support is greatly appreciated during this difficult time.

Nash is preceded in death by his uncle Doug, uncle Eddie, and grandmother Sandra. He is survived by his mother Abby Sellers and two sisters, Hannah Sellers and Bailey Sellers; his father Chris Sellers of Knoxville, TN; his maternal grandparents, Tim and Brenda; his paternal grandfather Donnie; his aunt, Amy; and his uncle Tyler.
