Nancy Vanzant Edmonds, age 79, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2020 in the Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City , TN. Nancy spent her career working as a Registered Nurse. She enjoyed traveling and her hobby of stamping and card making which she shared with many of her friends.

Nancy was the daughter of the late Clarence "Boyd" Vanzant and Lenotine Scarborough Vanzant of Lee County, VA. She was preceded in death by her sister Shirley Vanzant Sharp. Survivors include her son Michael Edmonds and wife Cindy of Johnson City, TN; daughter Monica Petrosky and husband Hugh of Littleton, CO. Grandchildren include Ashley Barnes and husband Brad and their children Sawyer and Finley of Jonesborough, TN; Brandon Petrosky and wife Laura and their children Harrison and Zoe of Mechanicsville, VA; Kyle Petrosky and wife Kayla of Hanahan, SC; and Cora Lamb and husband Michael and their children Leila, Elliot, and Owen of Denver, CO. Special friend Ruth McDaniel of Johnson City, TN.

A private ceremony will be held at a later date at Lee Memorial Gardens in Lee County, VA.
