Nancy's obituary
In Loving Celebration of the Life of
Nancy Triche London
January 1, 1953 – June 9, 2025
Nancy Triche London, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2025, at the age of 72. A vibrant personality with an infectious smile and a zest for life, Nancy leaves behind a legacy of love, adventure, and inspiration that will live on in all who knew her.
Born on January 1, 1953, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Charles and Nancy Jackson, Nancy was the youngest of four children from her mother’s first marriage. Later, with the marriage of her mother to Joe Powell, she became an older sister to five more siblings. At the age of four, Nancy's family relocated to California, where she spent her formative years in Compton and Little Rock before settling in Los Angeles.
A proud graduate of Loyola Marymount University, Nancy began her career in the entertainment industry as a Page at CBS. Her charm, work ethic, and curiosity opened doors to a long and fulfilling journey in television. She later brought her passion and people-first spirit to her second career at Enagic, where she was able to help others. On the side she continued to enjoy work in film and television as well as fulfilling her love for tennis as an umpire.
Nancy had a desire to see as much of the world as possible. She traveled extensively, setting foot on all seven continents, and yes, including Antarctica. Whether scuba diving in faraway oceans, playing tennis under the California sun, or snapping photos of the beautiful places and people she visited, she approached every moment with joy. Nancy passed on the travel bug to her two children who have followed in her footsteps.
Above all, Nancy cherished her family. She delighted in spending time with her daughter, son, daughter-in-law, and especially her three grandchildren, with whom she shared stories, laughter, and her love of traveling and tennis. She was fondly known to them as Tennis Grandma. She made every effort to be with her grandkids—offering them encouragement and endless affection.
Nancy had a gift for lifting others up, always encouraging those around her to become the best version of themselves. Her beautiful heart, friendly personality, and contagious laughter led to friendships and unexpected experiences wherever she was.
Nancy is survived by her daughter (Lisa), son (Henry), daughter-in-law (Alicia), and three adoring grandchildren (Kevin, Naomi, and Isaac), along with her many siblings, extended family, and a wide circle of friends across the globe. Though her absence leaves an ache in our hearts, she will be missed and forever remembered.
Travel isn't always about the places you go—sometimes it's about the hearts you touch along the way.
