Nancy Ann Swinney (Roell) passed away unexpectedly in her Home on June 11, 2022 in Richmond, Texas at the age of 70. Nancy was born on December 29, 1951 in Victoria, Texas to Henry and Dorothy Roell being the oldest of 6 siblings.

Nancy is preceded in death by Henry and Dorothy Roell and sister, Terry Bay.

Nancy is survived by her spouse, Michael Swinney, sons; Sean Kenneth, Gavin Michael and Lance Alan Swinney, and her 4 grandsons; Ethan, Austin, Porter, and Owen Swinney and 1 granddaughter; Emma Swinney.

She graduated from The Victoria College in 1975 with a degree in nursing (LVN). She married Michael Swinney, the love of her life of 41 years in 1980. Nancy began working as a nurse at Detar Hospital in the Emergency Room but eventually found her medical calling with dialysis. She worked in both clinical and home health, until her retirement. Nancy treated others as her family and made them feel as if they were her own kin. Nancy enjoyed spending her free time with her grandchildren that she adored.
