Nancy Mills Russo, 75, of Breinigsville, PA recently relocated to Amherst, VA, passed away on November 14, 2024. She was born on August 27, 1949, in Towanda, PA. Nancy graduated from North Penn High School’s class of 1967. She went on to study veterinary science technology at SUNY Delhi. Nancy was known for her kind, loving, and humorous spirit. She dedicated her life to being a wonderful mother and grandmother.

Nancy is survived by her children, Jeff Oakley and his wife Jodi, and their children Julia, Madilyn, and Malory; Kelly Oakley and her children Audrey and Nate; Jamie Tucker and her husband David, and their children Olivia, Fletcher, and Charlie; and stepson Bryan Russo and his wife Laura, and their children Madison, Austin, and Carson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Grace Mills, and her sisters, Susan Khan and Sally Mills.

Throughout her life, Nancy always put her family first, especially her eleven grandchildren, who brought immense joy and pride to her life. She loved sharing stories and the accomplishments of her grandchildren with everyone she met. She had a passion for sharing anecdotes about her life and tales of her heritage. Travel was a passion she shared with her sister, Sally, in their younger years, often bringing family along on their trips with them. Nancy was also an avid fan of the Outlander series, so much so that she requested her daughter-in-law, Laura, read the final book aloud to her when it is released. One of Nancy's most cherished memories was spending a week at Topsail Beach, NC this past summer with all her children and grandchildren, a dream come true for her.

Nancy's warmth, laughter, and dedication to her family will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. Her family and friends will remember her for her love and compassion and all of the precious moments they shared with her.

Nancy asked that her family forgo a formal memorial service.
