Nancy's obituary
In the 1960’s Nancy collected troll dolls and in later years, giraffes. She loved jewelry and painting her long beautiful nails.
Nancy was a life-long animal lover, and although her parents would not allow her to get a dog or a cat, she always had some kind of critter to care for. Her childhood pets included several hamsters, gerbils, and chameleons, one guinea pig, and a boa constrictor that attracted every kid on the block for its once a month feeding. As an adult she had three adult female rescue dogs starting in 2000, Roxie, Ruby, and Sally, who she loved dearly and spoiled daily.
Nancy was known for being thoughtful, feisty, intelligent, funny, and generous.
She is survived by her husband Michael MacDonell, step-daughter Courtney (MacDonell) Bahrou, brother Steven McNeil, sister Carol (McNeil) Sobo, brother John McNeil (wife Donna) several nieces and nephews, and two step-grandchildren.
