Nancy's obituary

Nancy’s obituary

Nancy Margaret (Hill)Jugon, 84, of Spring, Texas, passed in peace on Tuesday August 6, 2024.

Nancy was born on January 11, 1940 to James T and May Hill in Highland Park MI.  Nancy graduated from Dondero High School in Royal Oak, MI. She was employed at Burrows Engineering where she met Donald Jugon and they wed in 1959, going on to have three children, James Michael, Susan Ann and Donald Allen (DJ). Don and Nancy later divorced.

Her family was important to her, something she often mentioned. She was proud of her children, grandkids and great grandkids.

Nancy enjoyed life even as she struggled with her health. She was always surrounded by friends and family and relied on her faith in God. Although she did not possess riches, she would share anything she had. She will be most remembered for her intense UNO games, sock wars, and chinese checkers. She would love always having a pot of chili cooking or an ice cream cone to offer anyone who would stop by.

Nancy was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. For years, Nancy was known for opening her home to the Mormon missionaries, giving them a place to feel comfort when they would get homesick. In 1986 Nancy sold her home in Michigan so she could travel and visit with her former missionary friends. She loved living in the mountains of Utah and traveling the Northwest part of the USA. She has lived in the Houston Texas area since 1989.

Nancy was preceded in death by her mother and father; ex-husband Don; daughter, Susan Walker and granddaughter Madison Jugon. She is survived by her sons: James and Donald Allen Jugon; grandsons: Daniel (Danielle) Halpin, Tyler Jugon and John Kelly Fuller, granddaughters: Lisa Couto (husband Antonio), Tara Quinn (husband Patrick), Morgan Jugon, Montana Jugon and Lauren Jugon along with 11 great grandchilden.

There will be a service on Monday, August 12 at 3pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 27707 Glen Loch Drive, The Woodlands, TX 77381.
