Nancy Anne Hadsall (Singh), 71, of West Des Moines passed peacefully on August 1st, surrounded by her family, after a very brief battle with cancer. 

Nancy grew up in West Des Moines where she attended Dowling Catholic high school.

A graduate of Drake University, she went on to build a real estate business in Oklahoma, an arcade game company (Purple Star) in Des Moines, Iowa and finally went on to become an editor at Meredith Corporation later in her life.

She previously lived in India for many years, had a visa to New Zealand and traveled the world before having children and settling back in West Des Moines.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Ken Hadsall, her daughters Jenny Foster and Sydney Singh and her mother, Lavonne Smart. 

We will host a celebration of life in honor of a woman who knew how to celebrate every day and bring out the best in those around her. 

We request all of Nancy’s loved ones to join us in celebrating her beautiful life in an event planned to be held on 📅 October 6th, 2024 in West Des Moines at the Raccoon River Nature Lodge at 3:30 PM.
