Nancy Gloria Salustro-Ahuja, 73, of sunny Sarasota, FL, passed away on October 07, 2021, surrounded by her family. Nancy, born on March 07, 1948 to Gloria T. Celio Salustro and John Salustro in Astoria, NY, immediately brought joy and laughter into the world. She and the family moved from Astoria to Crandford, NJ when she was about 8 years old. Nancy went on to graduate from Crandford High School in 1966 as an honor student. After graduating from high school, Nancy loved to travel and went on to pursue a career in the tourism industry; she worked for SeaLand in Elizabeth, NJ, before moving to Miami, FL in 1977. Nancy worked for Cargo Lux Airlines and Burdines in Miami. In 1984, she met the love of her life, Premnath Ahuja at a restaurant where he worked in Rome, Italy; the two were inseparable from that point on. Nancy & Prem were married for over 23 years and had 1 daughter, Natasha Jennifer Ahuja. Nancy was the most dedicated, loving, giving, self-less, thoughtful, strong, caring and nurturing mother and wife. Nancy was predeceased by her parents, Gloria T. Celio Salustro and John Salustro and Widow, Prem Ahuja. She is survived by her daughter, Natasha J. Ahuja; her brother, John Salustro and his wife Connie; Nieces, Nicki and Jacki Salustro. Mass will be held at 10:00 AM EST. Cremation ceremony will be for immediate family only at the National Cremation Society.
