It is with great sadness that the family of Nancy Claire Degenhardt Faas announces her passing after a long and tough battle with leukemia on Saturday, January 11th 2020, at the age of 74. She was a devout member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Farmville. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and sunny beach days on the coast of New Jersey. She was preceded in death by both parents and her son William Faas Jr.. Nancy will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Bill of 47 years, and their three children, John (Laurin), Robert (Debbie), Patricia. Nancy will also be greatly missed by her eight grandchildren; Jessica (Ralph), Corey (Jessica), Michael (Hannah), Harrison, Trevor (Kristen), Juliette, Megan and Jenna, as well as her three great-grandchildren; Corey, Zane, and Finley. She will also be greatly missed by her goddaughter Barbara and Barbara’s children, Tracy and Stephanie. Nancy will live on in the hearts of many other family members and close friends.
