Nancy's obituary

Nancy Dianne Devore, “Dianne,” of Uhrichsville, OH, passed away on November 17th, 2020.

She was born May 23, 1947, at Twin City Hospital, Dennison, Ohio, to William H. and Ruby Maxine (Little) Tidrick.

She attended Uhrichsville High School and was among the last graduating class in 1965. She earned an assistant certificate from Career Academy in Virginia and furthered her nursing studies later on. She used those skills while working at Twin City Hospital as a former operating room technician and scrub nurse. She was a quality assurance inspector at Loud Engineering, as well as a former bakery manager. She endured and overcame many obstacles over the years and was a breast cancer survivor.

She married Frank Junior Devore on August 3, 1968 but later divorced in 1977. Together they had five daughters who survive them; Paula Curty, of the home, Jennifer Devore, of Topeka, Kan., Sheri Devore, of Pomona, Calif., Cyndi (Justin) Jolly, of Montclair, Calif., and Sarah (Daniel) Wilson, of Hutchinson, Kan.

Dianne moved to California in 1979 but eventually returned to Ohio in 2016. She loved to bake, crochet, do crossword puzzles, keeping score of Anaheim Angels baseball games and spending quality time with her loved ones.

She loved her daughters unconditionally and spent years of her life caring for and raising her grandchildren.

She is survived by 11 grandchildren; Deidre Devore, Joseph Sieliet Jr., William Tidrick, Kaylien Hewitt, Catarina Devore, Ariel Devore, Lydia Sanchez-Devore, Kourtney Devore, Julie Wilson, Emma Adkins and Daniel Sieliet. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren; her sister, Dorothy (James) Randall, Villa Park, Calif., nieces, Cara and Bethany Randall and a great nephew.

Dianne was preceded in death by her parents, oldest sister, ex-husband and a great grandson.

We will miss her homemade pumpkin pies, Christmas cookies, hearing “hey sweetie, it’s grandma” every time she called, and of course, her physical presence with us all here on earth.

We will cherish the memories we have of her and carry her in our hearts forever.
