Nancy's obituary
In 1986, she met Paul Burgess, and they wed in 1993. They were married for 28 years. Paul and Nancy went on to have three children, Lauren, Allie, and Logan. When Nancy had Lauren, she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Nancy excelled at lifting up Paul, Lauren, Allie and Logan and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. She made it her mission to improve the lives of others. Nancy was passionate about needle-point, crocheting, camping, and fishing and when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found in some of her favorite places: the beach, the ski lift, or Las Vegas. We will miss her greatly.
Nancy was preceded in death by her father, John, and her mother, Anita. She is survived by her loving husband, Paul, her daughter Lauren with husband Mike and their two daughters, Addison and Avery, her daughter Allie with fiancé, Miguel, her son Logan, and the family dog, Cooper. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Boulder County Wildfire Fund (https://www.commfound.org/gra…) to help people affected by the recent fires in Superior and Louisville.
A celebration of life memorial will be held at Stonebrook Manor located at 650 E 124th Avenue, Thornton, CO 80241 on Friday, January 21 at 2:00 pm MST.
