Nancy's obituary

Nancy Ann Holbrook Bunting, born September 13, 1932, passed away on December 23, 2025 after many years marked by faith, service, and devotion to her family. She married Carl Bunting, her partner in both life and ministry, and together they built a home grounded in love, purpose, and deep trust in Jehovah God.

Nancy is survived by her children Debi (Rick) Beasley, Kris Fancher, Karla (Rob) McMullen, and Kenny (Carol) Bunting, Thomas Bunting III.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Robbie Holbrook, her beloved husband, Carl, and their youngest daughter, Amy Cornwell.

She leaves behind a large and loving family of grandchildren - Daniel (Julie) Beasley, Dave (Abby) Beasley, Jarred (Erin) Sutherland, Emily (Chris) Kitterman, Lindsey (Josh) Gardner, Tyler Fancher, Shizuko Tagawa, Bradley Bunting, Stephanie (Jamey) Johnson - as well as many great‑grandchildren who brought her joy throughout her life.

Nancy dedicated herself to serving Jehovah as a regular pioneer, spending over 40 years in the full-time ministry offering encouragement and hope to others. She and Carl served in congregations across North Carolina, West Virginia, and Russellville, Ohio, always ready to support the congregation wherever it was needed. Even when health challenges later required her to step back from pioneering, her heart remained firmly in the work she loved.

Hardworking and determined, Nancy approached every task with enthusiasm. She worked in a hydroponic greenhouse and later became the first female bus driver hired by Clermont County CART, a role she embraced wholeheartedly. She gave her best to every assignment and was always ready for a challenge, even joking that she still hoped to drive a big rig someday.

Nancy will be remembered for her resilience and supportive nature. She was a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, and her influence will continue to be felt through the many lives she touched.

Her family takes comfort in the resurrection hope she cherished knowing that she will one day awaken healthy and happy in the paradise she faithfully believed in.
