Nancy Yockey Bonar, 87, passed away on April 11,2024. Nancy was a beloved mother to Tim Bonar, grandmother to Jay Baughman and Jaime Corzo, and aunt to Mark Yockey and Brian Yockey. She was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Martine Yockey, her daughter Julie and her niece Cheryl Keck.

Nancy was a woman of many talents and passions. She was a member of Delta Gamma sorority at Kent State University and then became a stewardess for Eastern Airlines. She also made contributions as fashion columnist with the Akron Beacon Journal in the 1960s. She served as Vice President and retired from Edward Howard & Company. In her later years, Nancy found fulfillment editing and assisting graduate students with the doctoral thesis.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Nancy enjoyed gardening and writing. Private services will be held to honor her life.
