Nancy's obituary

Nancy Jane Angelino

May 15,1933 - March 14, 2024

Nancy was born in Oklahoma, the 2nd youngest of 7. Her father, a cowhand, moved the family to Silver City, NM when she was 10yrs old. Nancy fell in love with the mountains and the Mexicans, whom she found exotic. It was in Silver where she would lose her father and nearly her mother in a car accident at the age of 15. After recovering, her mother moved back to Oklahoma, but Nancy stayed in Silver. This is where she married and had her first born daughter. Cheryl. Her 2nd daughter, Chris, was born in Denver.

She became a single, teenage mother of two little girls. We became her everything and she ours.

She always had had a dream of living in California and spent most of her adult life there. She immersed herself in the Science of Mind philosophy and became a practitioner which led her to the desire to study psychology.

At age 50, she decided to go back to school and become a licensed Marriage, Family Child Counselor.

She had a strong desire to travel and experienced Argentina, Mexico, Spain, Canada and Ireland.

She was a student of life and people. She loved meeting new people and was deeply loved by everyone she met. No one was a stranger to her. She had that special gift of being able to connect and no one that she touched would ever forget her.

Later in life, she became a student again by immersing herself in the Course in Miracles. The course helped her navigate and accept all the physical challenges she went through later in her life. She had a strong base of faith and belief.

She modeled a way to live gracefully for her daughters. Here are the messages she gave us.

Stay curious, stay open and flexible. Pivot if you need to. Be kind and generous and life will be kind and generous towards you.

Call on help from the invisible realm around you. God and your angels are eager to assist you and have the whole picture. Trust in this power …. It is your divine inheritance .

Your state of mind is important. “Feel” your way towards your wants. Seek joy and peace and they will find their way to you.

Embrace every experience that comes your way, this will allow you to live life fully.

Gratitude will bring you gifts and miracles.

Mom, you were/are our gift, our miracle and we are eternally grateful for YOU.

Enjoy this new journey you are on…. You deserve the beautiful ride it brings!
