Nancy Allen, 86, of Sarasota, FL,  peacefully passed away on October 23, 2022 surrounded by her family.

Nancy was born on November 23, 1935  in Memphis TN. Her parents were Ethel & Karl Shrode.  After graduating from Sarasota High School in 1953, she started her grand adventure living in different cities married to Richard Allen and having 4 children. Nancy did many things with her life from developing property, selling real estate and importing Mexican pottery and goods. She married Louis Ricci later in her life and they together traveled the country in their camper with their beloved dogs and also traveled the world. Nancy is predeceased by Louis Ricci and is survived by Kathy Allen Tripp, husband Rodger Tripp, Kerry Allen John, Richard (Skip) Allen Jr, and Kelly Allen Bening, husband Jeffery Bening.  Grandchildren: Torrey Trip, Keely Burdge, August Tripp, Zachary John, Julian Tripp, Maxwell Bening, Jacob Bening & Ryan Bening. Siblings: Fred Shrode, Carol Sutcliffe, & Debbie Pinion. Nancy also had 5 great grandchildren. Nancy was an avid artist, animal lover and was passionate about social issues. We will have a celebration of her life at Siesta Key Beach to be announced later.
