Nancalee Clark, age 81, passed away peacefully June 23, 2020 in Saint Petersburg, Florida. She was born 10/11/1938 in Cumberland, Maryland to the late Catherine Tragner Kennell. She moved to Florida in 1978 and married her true love Richard Stanton Clark, who preceded her in death in 2002.

Nancalee (aka Nanc, Nancy) was known for her love of animals and Florida. She loved animals more than people and Florida more than Maryland. She loved her family and all the friends she met up and down the East Coast.

Nanc worked many years in the insurance business. In Baltimore she worked for Fireman’s Fund and in Orlando she worked for GAB.

In addition to her mother and her husband, Nanc was preceded in death by her newborn daughter, Candace Lynne Carter and her sister, Joyce H. Wheatley.

She is survived by her sister Mary Francis Kennell of Woodstock, Georgia and her brother Arthur Kennell of Baltimore, Maryland. She is also survived by her dog Chloe and many beloved nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.

Nanc’s wishes were to not have a Memorial Service but to have her ashes spread at one of her favorite places – The Florida Keys.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to a local No Kill Humane Society.
