So sorry (and shocked) to hear the news of Naif's passing. We met at a dual sport riding event. We were both riding alone so after meeting each other over a puddle crossing we began to ride together. We hit it off and I am sure we would have become close friends if he hadn't moved out of Wisconsin.

We were so sorry to hear about Naif's passing. He was such a warm, kind soul. We have missed your family’s presence on Shoreland and we are so sorry for your pain. May your bountiful beautiful memories that you have made with Naïf be a blessing to you and the boys.

A fond memory I have of Naïf is from the night this photo was taken. A group of six of us went out to a German restaurant and had so much fun drinking beer out of the boot, eating awesome food, (Naïf had the ribs 😉) and spending time out as friends away from our little kids.
Sending my deepest condolences to my friend Shannon and family. Naïf was truly adored by his family. ❤️

I was lucky enough to be there the night Naïf and Shannon Met, and the minute they locked eyes it was like nobody else in the room or universe mattered, They never left each others side after that night, and I knew from the start their paths were meant to cross that night and every broken road led them to eachother, and I had a front seat to their beautiful love story. We had so many nights blaring Notorious Big In Naïfs car me and the third wheel in the back seat and Shann front seat hair blowing in the wind and those two were like Modern day Bonnie & Clyde without the crime ofcourse. Naif’s and I friendship grew closer when Shannon would be working, Naif being a full time student and me a slacker we would spend our days on my parents boat in the lakes fishing and I crowned him with the nickname “Big Dawg” and our family was blessed enough to host the nuptials of Mr. and Mrs. Kojah at that same lake house we spent so many lazy days fishing and drinking beer. What a beautiful Day it was. I just knew that My Big Dawg and Shann’s love was such a rarity and would last a lifetime. My heart breaks that he was taken from His Family, Shann , the boys and the rest of the world too soon but we all know Naif’s light and spirit was less of candlelight and more like a Firework filled July, it’s what we loved most about him. Shann, Laith, Zade & Mazin our Love & Prayers will be with you all the days to follow and Rest Easy BiG DAWG throw on some Notorious , Crack open a Beer and cast a line up there I know you will continue to watch over your Pride ! Love you Shann ❤️
