Nadine Reed holds a special place in my heart. She was my Sunday School teacher, and everything she said was Bible-based. I especially remember the class on modesty. Back then, we all wore mini-skirts. She showed us from the Bible, in the most kind way, that scriptural instruction was to be modest. She also went into how immodesty affected teenage boys. She was always at my family members' funerals, and I loved seeing her there. I will never forget her and look forward to seeing her again. She was beautiful inside and out.
As a young mother, Nadine would come to my home every Wednesday while my three boys were resting. We would open the Word, read together, share prayer concerns, and end in prayer. It always included prayers for our country, our church, and our loved ones. She ministered to me weekly. So grateful for our time together.

Oh, the stories and memories… The Reeds were my second family.  Mrs Reed treated me as her own. One of my fondest memory of Mrs Reeds was her home made dinner rolls. I didn’t know that dinner rolls even existed  until Mrs Reed served them with the family dinner when Kirby invited me over  for the first time when I was 5 years old. I remember thinking this is the best thing I ever had. This memory is there every time dinner rolls are served. I can’t count how many times I had Mrs Reeds home cooked meals but having dinner with the Reed family had an impact on my life on many levels to this day. Mrs Reed was the nicest and Christ-loving lady I have ever met.  I have utmost respect for her. Memories from those early childhood days will last my lifetime. Heaven has received a jewel. I love the Reed Family and you all have the Kemp Family condolences. God bless you all. -David Jr.
